It is a heartwarming romance about an aspiring American writer whose holiday in the picturesque hometown of Shakespeare's most famous heroine leads to unexpected love.
When a young American travels to the city of Verona, home of the star-crossed lover Juliet Capulet (Romeo and Juliet), she joins a group of volunteers who respond to letters from the heartbroken written to Juliet seeking advice about love. After answering one letter dated 1957, she inspires its author to travel to Italy in search of her long-lost love Lorenzo . This sets off a chain of events that will bring love into all their lives.
